iHelp Social Justice Crew Making a Difference

On Sunday the 25th of February, our iHelp (Social Justice) students played a large role in mass at St John 23rd in Stanhope Gardens and later held a cake stall outside the church. The students used their mathematical skills to work out the change for each sale and helped raised an amazing $796. The money raised will support the wonderful elderly people within our community. Holy Cross students recognised in Parliament for efforts to ban plastic bottles

Holy Cross was mentioned in Parliament this week by Michelle Rowland, recognising the wonderful work of a student from Year 4 and a student from Year 6 who have been examining the problems of plastic pollution in our environment and have been campaigning to curb the use of water bottles in Australia. Dance Fever winners

On Monday 4th December, Holy Cross students gathered at the Olympic Park Netball Centre for the Dance Fever Inter School Challenge and came home First, Second and Third place Tango winners. Congratulations to all for an exceptional effort.

Team Infinity from Holy Cross eye Australia Lego title

TEAM Infinity from Holy Cross recently competed in their second successive FIRST LEGO League national championships at Macquarie University on December 2, catching the eye with their ban the plastic bottle project. The team finished 13th out of 68 in the Robot Game, were awarded 2nd Place for Gracious Professionalism and have had their work recognised in Parliament.
