Last night, a group Year 6 students from iHelp, collaborated with students from St John XXIII to participate in the Vinnies Winter Stay Out. It was an opportunity to raise awareness and walk in the shoes of many people experiencing homelessness in our community. It aimed to build empathy and a greater understanding of the challenges many face each day. The meaningful and reflective activities planned for the evening, encouraged the students to think deeply about their role in promoting dignity and compassion for all. Thank you to the Faith In Action Team at St John XXIII College for including Holy Cross in this event and also to the St Vincent de Paul Society volunteers for sharing stories about how they serve others in need. π Year 6 Camp Excitement at Collaroy! π Our Year 6 students are having an absolutely incredible time at camp in beautiful Collaroy! They've been busy with "Team-Building Challenges," "Laser Tag," "High Ropes," "Flying Fox" and "Orienteering". It's wonderful to see them building new friendships, developing their independence, and making memories that will last a lifetime. We'll be sharing more photos and updates throughout the camp, so keep an eye on our page!
