This afternoon our students began their peer support lessons with a focus on being positive and respectful in their interactions with others ๐ Our peer support program gives our Year 5 and 6 students a chance to be leaders in our community and role models for our younger students ๐๐

This November and December we will continue to support our friends at the JSS ignite food store ๐ We will be collecting Christmas pudding, cake mix and shortbread cookies to help them out over the Christmas season ๐

Happy All Saints Day! This is a day that we commemorate all the Christian saints in Heaven. Some of these are well-known saints, however, there are many saints who are not as widely recognised. All Saintsโ Day ensures that these saints, too, are commemorated on this special occasion. We are called to live saintly lives by following in the footsteps of Jesus like the saints. iHelp researched many different saints and wrote prayers asking for the saints to pray for us. ihelp learnt that everyone can be like the saints by doing charitable works. Congratulations to our school cricket team who had another great victory today and now progress through to the semi finals of the Mark Taylor Shield ๐ We scored 9/126 and then bowled our opponents out for 75. Special mention to Dev who top scored with 47 and Michael who took 6 wickets! ๐

Congratulations to Jayden from Year 6 who was this yearโs school winner of the Maths Olympiad competition. His total score was in the top 10% of all students across all schools ๐ We also had 8 students finish in the top 25% of students. Well done everyone who participated!
